Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is Birthday Bash. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, we would appreciate your comments because we enjoy hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I am in love with this Artfully Layered bundle. It is from the Artfully Composed Suite, which can be found on pages 32 – 34 of the new Mini Catalog! I love the mixed fonts in this stamp set and the birthday sentiment was a perfect fit for this month’s Pals Blog Hop!
The dies in this set are called Tropical Layers Dies and include dies for both stamped images and also stand-alone dies to add interest and coordination to each of your projects!
Here is the step-by-step…
- Trim Basic White (thick) card base: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
- Trim Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″ and stamp small heart/leaf shapes in Basic Gray ink
- Emboss with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to card base
- Trim Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 3″ and randomly stamp background lettering image and stamp (off) heart/leaf images in Sahara Sand and Basic Gray ink. Adhere to card front
- Crop a circle with Layering Circle Dies from Sahara Sand card stock and Vellum Layering Designs CS
- Crop two stand alone dies from Sahara Sand and Basic Gray card stock
- Crop several hearts/leaves (one die) from Basic Gray card stock
- Stamp large leaf image in Basic Gray and crop with coordinating die
- Stamp sentiment on Basic White scrap and trim around sentiment (and/or fussy cut)
- Adhere all images over cropped circles and adhere to stamped card front
- Unwind a strip of White Baker’s Twine and make a bow with some of the strands
- Adhere both sentiments with dimensionals
- Randomly adhere leaves/hearts onto card front
- Add a few Elegant Faceted Gems to project
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on March 9th. Our theme will be Cute Critters where our Design Team creates a project with any kind of animals, birds, butterflies or insects.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
