Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Home for the Holidays”. We really hope that you enjoy and are inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Our theme this month is Home for the Holidays… and this die cut image from the Giving Gifts Dies (Time of Giving Bundle) says it all for me! It’s the iconic image of Santa and his reindeer making their way to the homes and hearts of children everywhere.
This project was also so quick and easy to create. I wanted the die cut image to be the focal point and I needed a sentiment which would be just as bold… but not take away from Santa and his reindeer! 🙂 I found my answer from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set. The sentiment fonts in this set are large, crisp and clear!
Here’s the step-by-step…
- Trim Basic White (thick) CS to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and score at 4 1/4
- Trim Real Red CS to 5 1/4 x 4 and adhere to card base
- Trim Basic White CS to 5 x 3 3/4
- Crop BW layer with the Santa/Sleigh die from the Giving Gifts Dies using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
- Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink above the die cut image
- Adhere layer to card front
- Make a bow from Real Red Sheer Ribbon and adhere to card front with Mini Dimensional
- Add a few Real Red Rhinestones to card front
I hope you liked my Pals Hop project today! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 8th. Our theme will be “My Favorite Things” with our design team showcasing some of their favorite products from any catalog they choose.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
