This card was so fun to create! Don’t let it fool you… it is much easier than it looks to actually create it! I used the Whimsical Trees bundle and the Whimsy & Wonder DSP.
I will have the measurements and supplies used listed below, but if you would like to see the step-by-step, feel free to watch the replay of the Facebook Live I recorded last week. It will be at the end of the post. Enjoy!
This project was actually a CASE of a customer’s creation that she posted on our LollyPop Paper and Friends Facebook Group. This group is strictly for sharing and inspiring each other! My viewers are encouraged to post a photo of anything they are working on that month. Prize patrol is given at the end of each month! The best thing about this group is that we want to see your creations… whatever they may be! It doesn’t even have to be stamping related… could be knitting, needlepoint, painting, etc! Next time you’re on Facebook, pop in and give us a peek into your latest creations.
So… back to the CASE! My customer’s name is Kathy Schmidt and she received so many requests from others in the group for the tutorial, that she actually sent me a card using this Interlocking Fold Design. I was thrilled but a bit intimidated by the design as I had never tried this one before.
Well it only took a hot minute to see that this design/technique was easy peezy and then there was no stopping me then! It looked so much harder to create than it actually was! Give it a try and see for yourself!
I tried it a few ways once I got the hang of it and this time I changed up the color and seasonal theme using the Giving Gift Dies (pg. 61 Mini Catalog) and Bumblebee and Pumpkin Pie card stock.
I hoped that you liked my projects today. Take a look at the replay if you want to get the step-by-step!
