Thank you to everyone who joined me live this morning to see how easy it is to make a quick and simple Z-Fold card! We were showcasing the adorable Garden Birdhouses stamp set along with the gorgeous Hand-Penned DSP!
The card we created during the Live was a little variation from the sample here (shown below). I decided to add a solid color layer to all the DSP layers and I really liked the way the alternative project came out! I also had a few tips for changing up the Z-Fold to a fun fold if you wanted the card to lay a little flatter.
If you missed the Live video, I invite you to watch the replay at the end of this post or on my YouTube Channel.
The Garden Birdhouses stamp set can be found on page 107 of the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog! Don’t you just love these images (perfect for coloring) and the very cool fonts?!!
Here is the Facebook Live project that was created with just a slight difference. We added a slight border with Mint Macaron card stock!
Here are the measurements and scoring details for this project:
- Thick CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ & 1 1/4″
- CS: 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
- CS: 5 1/4″ x 1 1/4″
- DSP: 5 1/8″ x 2 5/8″

I love your cards. Hopefully you won’t mind if I case them. I was wondering what the card stock white thick pound weight is compared to the reg car stock. Hope I put that so u understand what I am asking?
Hi Sandra, I’m always flattered with a CASE of my projects! The regular card stock is 80# and the heavy card stock is #100. I’m assuming there isn’t much difference, but this was from SU regarding their Whisper White card stock (before we had our Basic White line).
