LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Quiet Meadow and Watercolor Technique

This Quiet Meadow Bundle from the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog may a quiet surprise for you. I almost overlooked it, but now I see the beauty in every single project I have done with it and so happy I decided to purchase it. You can find it on page 110 of the catalog.

You can see the beautiful dies that are included in the bundle. These dies are surely stand along images that can totally make your project pop right off the paper!

I also used a technique to achieve the watercolor effect on the right side of the card front. I used two of my Stampin’ Blends and a little bit of rubbing alcohol. You can see a video tutorial on this technique at the bottom of this post. It is so easy, I hope you will give it a try.

I cropped the floral die from Shimmery White card stock and adhered it over a scalloped layer of Soft Succulent card stock (one of our new 2021-23 In Colors). I cropped the scalloped edge using the Scalloped Contour Dies (bundled with the Color & Contour stamp set) for a pretty edge to the focal image layer.

I wrapped it with some white twine from the Bakers Twine Essential pack and added a few 2021-23 In Color Jewels to finish the project.

I hope you liked today’s card project. Thanks for visiting my blog today and have a wonderful day!

Take a look at how easy this technique is…
