Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Great Family Occasions.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The theme for this month’s blog hop came with perfect timing! I wanted to make a special wedding card for a dear friend of the family who will be getting married in May! I can’t say I used one specific suite or bundle for this project, but I can say that I am so pleased how using a mix of products resulted in the perfect simple message of love that I had in mind.
Some of the products that I used on this project are on the ‘Last Chance – Retiring’ List’ and may not be there for long. Once the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog is released, these items will be discontinued and no longer available! These are the retiring products used on this project: Stitched Be Mine Dies (reduced from $35 to $21), Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, Scripty 3D Embossing Folder (reduced from $10 to $9) and the Heart Charms will only be available until the Mini Catalog retires late June.
I layered the embossed layers on the card base and also a square layer of Smoky Slate card stock. I embossed a second heart from the dies set also with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a soft overlay on the Smoky Slate cropped heart.
I did use a brand new product that I received from the catalog pre-order (fantastic perk to being a demo), it is called Simply Elegant Trim and it has a beautiful spool of both silver and gold trim. I wrapped it around the focal image layers and slipped on a Heart Charm before adhering the trim to the backside.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set with Silver embossing powder for a clean and crisp sentiment. I hope you liked my blog hop project this month!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on May 12th when our theme is “2021-2023 New In Colors” when our Design Team creates a project with the new family of In Colors for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft space.
