This was one of the first designs I created with the beautiful Butterfly Brilliance bundle! I love monochromatic designs and by adding just a pop of color with a watercolored butterfly, it came out exactly as I was hoping it would!
The Butterfly Brilliance bundle was an early release product from the upcoming 2021-22 Annual Catalog. The bundle is available now and the catalog will be released to the public on May 4th! Yay!
I used tone on tone Crumb Cake ink and card stock and just brushed a little ink onto the edges of the layering piece after I roughed up the edges with a pair of scissors.
I stamped the butterfly in Saddle Brown Stazon and cropped it with one of the dies from the Brilliant Dies set. I used my Aqua Painter and a little bit of Mint Macaron ink to color in the image.
I stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and cropped it with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.
I wrapped the layers with the Polka Dot ribbon (retiring), tied a bow and added a second bow with the Linen Thread for an added accent.
Hope you liked today’s project.

I love monochromatic cards too. This one is exceptionally beautiful. Love the colour of the butterfly against the plain background, it appears to be ready to fly away.
Thanks so much, Penny!
