Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Cute Critters” – showcasing their card/project with adorable animals, birds, or insects for any occasion. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I thought this adorable kangaroo would be a perfect critter to help you ‘hop’ along from post to post! This little guy is from the Kangaroo & Company Bundle (pg. 17 Jan June 2021 Mini Catalog) and him and his friends are just too cute for words.
I used a basic corner fold for this card to showcase the Kangaroo of course, but also to showcase the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. This DSP is not available for purchase now because it was a 2021 Sale-A-Bration Award product. It has so many bold and beautiful prints in this DSP, I hope you were able to earn it for yourself! If not, any of our beautiful DSP packs will do!
I picked up the coordinating colors from the DSP to use for my focal accents and used my So Saffron, Just Jade and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to color in the bouquet of flowers and the tiny butterfly. I used Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to color in the Kangaroo!
I also stamped the baby Joey on the inside of the card and colored him in with Stampin’ Blends also.
I thin strip of So Saffron card stock along the bottom of the card is a nice grounding for the sentiment from the set which was popped up with dimensionals.
Hope you liked my ‘Cute Critter’ project today!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on April 14th when our theme is “Great Family Occasions” when our Design Team creates a project for any special occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft space.

So cute! The matching flower bouquet to the paper is a great touch that catches the eye. I love fun folds and this is a great one.
Great fun to see how others put their own stamp on critters! Love your beautiful colors Lori!
