Have you tried our new Blending Brushes? I don’t think I’ll be using my sponge daubers again… that’s for sure! This brand new product is from the Jan Jun Mini Catalog and will change the way you create your backgrounds and color your large images with soft and subtle hues.
Blending Brushes can be found on page 70 of the January June 2021 Mini Catalog and come three to a pack for $12.
For this project, I used the Square Vellum Doilies as both the stencil and the stenciled focal image. I love Mint Macaron and using the Blending Brushes over the Vellum onto a scalloped square couldn’t have been any easier for a beautiful end result!
Layering the Vellum and the brushed image over the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder from the Fine Art Floral Suite and wrapping the layer with a bow tied with the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon brought it all together.
The sentiment was stamped in Mint Macaron ink and cropped with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to complete the monochromatic themed card.
Hope you liked today’s project and give those Blending Brushes a try!
