This is one of those projects that was born from overcropping from another project! I created a project with the Poinsettia Petals bundle and seemed to have ended up with more die cuts than I could actually fit on the card! Never should something so pretty go to waste…

And so we have a festive silver and black holiday card project created with the Poinsettia Petals bundle, the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper, Silver Foil and the Feels Like Frost DSP pack!

I started by cropping the Poinsettia Petals right from the specialty paper and from the silver foil sheets. I also cropped a few stems from the foil.

I wrapped the mesh ribbon around a piece of Basic Black card stock and adhered it to the backside. I adhered the Basic Black layer onto one of the silver foil designs from the Feels Like Frost DSP and then adhered both layers to the card base.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto the lower part of the black card stock.

I layered each of the foil petals together with glue dots to form the flower. I layered all the die cuts onto the Basic Black layer being sure to cover any adhesive used on the specialty paper (Vellum).

I finished the project with a little added sparkle using a few of the Clear Epoxy Droplets.
