This pretty card was truly born from a simple mishap… my helper (hubby) had cropped way too many of the Whisper White embossed (Winter Snow Emboss Folder) Stitched Nested Label Dies before he realized it was the wrong size for the project! I couldn’t possibly throw these beautiful tags away… and I would need some thank you tags for the class anyway! 🙂

So I grabbed some Basic Black card stock from my scrap folder, a little metallic thread, a leftover cropped snowflake from another project (Snowflake Wishes Bundle), a thank you sentiment and I had myself a beautiful thank you tag to add to my goodies that I would be sending to the members of this month’s online class.

The tags came out so pretty that I just couldn’t stop there! I knew there was a card in the making with these tags! So I trimmed another piece of Basic Black card stock, chose a pretty silver print from the Feels Like Frost DSP pack and did a little embossing for the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set! I added all the elements to a card base – and there it was… a pretty card born from a mishap and some scraps!
