Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because this month’s theme is “Art from the Heart” and we think you’re going to love it! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
To me, nothing says LOVE like white on white! And so I was inspired to keep this Love card completely tone on tone white!
I do love white on Vellum, so I was sure to heat emboss the Poppies from the Painted Poppies stamp set onto scraps of Vellum and then crop them with the Painted Label Dies from the bundle. I also cropped a heart from Vellum with the Stitched Be Mine Dies from the Annual Catalog and a couple of leaf sprigs from the Leaf Punch.
The focal point of this project is the Whisper White layer that I embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder. This design is so beautiful. I did make sure that the design was centered on the card stock to offset the Vellum Poppies that were layered on the left side of the card front.
I added the word ‘love’ using the Make A Difference stamp set and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of Vellum. I tucked it under and adhered it to the underside of the embossed layer. I finished the project by wrapping a strand of Whisper White Crinkle Ribbon around the lower edge of the embossed layer and tied a bow right of center.
I hope you liked my Pal’s Blog Hop project this month!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
