This project was completed with one bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog (So Sentimental) and one FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure (Lily Impressions DSP)!
The sentiments in the So Sentimental stamp set are large, bold and beautiful! And the dies in the Stitched So Sweetly dies are sized perfectly with a stitched border in rectangle shapes which make for easy and pretty layering. The stitched tag dies are shaped for the included stamps or for just about any other sentiment you have on hand.
Here are some simple directions to create this card:
- Start with a Purple Posy card stock card base trimmed at 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 3″
- Whisper White card stock trimmed at 3 7/8″ x 4 7/8″ – adhered on (inside) long side of score line
- Lily Impressions DSP trimmed at 4″ x 2 3/4″ – adhered to front (outside) flap of card base
- Crop rectangle (Purple Posy) from Stitched Rectangle dies and adhere to right side of DSP layer
- Crop 2 stitched label dies (Flirty Flamingo & Whisper White) from Stitched So Sweetly Dies
- Stamp the top label die with sentiment and adhere to larger die cut
- Adhere both cropped labels to stitched rectangle layer
- Add two sequins to either side of sentiment tag
- Optional – stamp Lily image from Lovely Lily Pad stamp set (Sale-A-Bration Item)
Below is an alternative card I created for my ‘Thursday This or That’ series on my Facebook page (Lollypop Paper and Ink). I was pretty surprised to see that the majority of people preferred the bottom card! I guess you just never know :-).
