Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! We’re showcasing our favorite new products from 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My Pal’s project this month showcases the beautiful Painted Poppies Stamp Set with the sentiments from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. Both of these stamp sets are from the beautiful Peaceful Poppies Suite. I used just one die from the Painted Labels Dies (part of the Painted Poppies Bundle). All of these products are now available from the new January – June 2020 Mini Catalog! The suite is highlighted on pages 24-27 of the Mini Catalog.
The DSP for this project was from the Peaceful Poppies DSP and the designs and colors on these papers are just extraordinary! I used a thin strip of the DSP on a Whisper White layer as a backdrop for the beautiful stamped Poppy flower.
The flower was stamped in Memento Black ink. I stamped the top of the flower with Poppy Parade ink and lightly colored in the stem and bud using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade (light) Blends Markers. I trimmed the image to 3-1/4″ x 1-5/8″ and rounded the edges with the Detailed Trio Punch.
I cropped the scalloped line die from Old Olive card stock and mounted my layers onto an Old Olive card stock base. I popped the focal image up with several dimensionals and stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Poppies stamp set in Memento Black ink onto the lower right corner of the Whisper White layer. I added a few Peaceful Poppies Sequins to the card front and used a scrap from a coordinating design from the Peaceful Moments DSP to line the envelope flap!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 12th, for our Art From The Heart blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects made from the heart for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun!

Love this card!
Hi, I really like this card – am wondering how you got the little “blur” of color for the flower on the strip of white?. I am also thinking about case’ing this.
Thanks bunches
