The Painted Poppies Stamp Set/Bundle is part of the Peaceful Poppies Suite from the new January – June 2020 Mini Catalog and it is just adorable! As you can see, it is an all-image stamp set that can be colored with Markers, Blends or stamped with one of our beautiful ink pads.
The coordinating dies (Painted Labels Dies) crop out the images with a few bonus label dies to be used for sentiments from any other stamp set you already own. With just a few color changes, these images will take you through all four seasons of occasions!
I used two (one long and one short) strips of paper from the Peaceful Poppies DSP and layered it on top of a strip of Basic Black card stock. Before adhering the DSP to the black card stock, I ran some of the new Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon which I had colored with my Dark Poppy Parade Blends Marker around the card layers and tied a bow. I trimmed off just about an inch for the bow to peek through.
After stamping the group of poppies image side by side in Memento Black ink, I colored the petals in with my Poppy Parade Blends Marker. I finished the project by using my Aqua Painters to ‘flick’ a little of the Poppy Parade ink onto the card front before stamping the sentiment in the upper right hand corner. I added one small sequin from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins pack for a little bling to the sentiment!
I hope you liked todays project. This card is one of the cards from my January Monthly Card Club. The Painted Poppies Bundle is my featured stamp set/bundle for both my Monthly Club and my Online Class this month. Here is a little sneak peek from the Club and the Class.
