LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Perfectly Plaid Holiday Sampler

This is the perfect time of year to make a holiday sampler… for yourself or as a gift! And the Perfectly Plaid Bundle was the PERFECT set to use for this holiday gift!

I used the Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper and combined bundles using the Perfectly Plaid AND the Christmas Gleaming Bundle!

(Did you know that the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set with the Tree Punch AND the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack will be returning in our next Holiday Catalog?… that makes me very happy!)

I used the Hand Lettered Prose Dies to spell out the word ‘joy’ and cropped it from the Wrapped In Plaid DSP!

This was so much fun to make and I know my BFF will just love it!

Hope you liked it too!

  1. I love this! I think I will make one for my oldest daughter. I’m glad the Wrapped in Plaid paper will be returning! I have the stamp sets and punches. I really loved working with these this year!

  2. I love the sampler. Would like to make but not good with measurements. Did you do a tutorial on it or just give dimensions for it.

    • Hi Celia, I didn’t do a tutorial on this one… mainly because it’s not many measurements to remember! My larger squares are 2 1/2″ each and the DSP square is 2 1/4″ (with the exception of the rectangle, which is 6″ x 2 1/2″)! The rest is just die cut and punches added with a few embellishments! Glad you liked it! xo

  3. Your sampler is beautiful. I’m wondering if it is a 12 x 12 ? I like to work in 12 x 12 or 9 x 9 but sometimes getting the measurements right can be a challenge. Thanks for all the ideas you share and Merry Christmas

  4. That is a really pretty sampler. It looks like a 12 x 12 but I wasn’t quite sure. I’ve done various samplers in 12 x 12 as well as 9 x 9 and 8 x 8, however the smaller sizes get a little tricky to layer with the squares being so small. Thanks for all your wonderful ideas and Merry Christmas.
