I was designing for my November Monthly Card Club with the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and became a little (happily) distracted with this one design :-)!
I fell in love with making those little ornaments three dimensional and adding them to the card front. So much so, that I will definitely be using this design for one of the November Card Club projects!
I used the bundle which includes two beautiful ornament punches. I simply punched out several images from the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper and glued them together. The Brightly Gleaming DSP is filled with beautiful foil lined patterns which make this 3D ornament come alive!
I started with a Thick Whisper White card base and layered a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Pretty Peacock for my first layer. I cropped a piece of Whisper White from the Stitched Rectangles for a back drop for the ornament. I used six cropped ornament die cuts for this project, but it really would have been fine with three or four.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set, which I inked with Pretty Peacock ink. I added a few Gold Faceted Gems and a bit of Copper Metallic Thread to finish off the project.
