This card was one of the cards from my May Online Class. It featured the Piece of Cake stamp set and bundle and some retiring DSP. The DSP is used for this card was from the Floral Romance DSP. Sometimes, I find it harder to say goodbye to the retiring DSP than I do the retiring stamp sets! This is one that will definitely be missed!
I used Petal Pink throughout and wanted to keep it a very clean and simple wedding card. I wanted the Vellum from the Floral Romance DSP to stand out and be appreciated from both sides. So I used the large square from the Layering Square Famelits Dies and cut out BOTH the front of the card base and a piece of Whisper White card stock with the layering square. This way I could insert and adhere the Vellum square in between both pieces of card stock.
I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card, knowing that it would be a muted, softer look at first glance, but it would be very clear once the card was opened! I really loved how it came out!
Hope you liked it too!
