Thinking Spring – Pal’s March Blog Hop

Stampin'Up! Stampinup! Incredible Like You Stamp Set with Needle & Thread Stamp Set Friend card by Lori Pinto1

Welcome to the Pals’ March Blog Hop. We’re so glad you’re here because ”Spring has Sprung” – at least on our blog hop if not outside! Our Design Team created beautiful projects to inspire you. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

It may be a little early to think Spring… but this card certainly helps bring that day dream a little closer to reality! I used the Incredible Like You stamp set from the Occasions Catalog along with the Needle & Thread stamp set for the sentiment.

The background was done by repeating the design of the ‘lines’ from the large stamp in the set. Since it is photopolymer, it was easy to see exactly where to place the stamp for easy spacing. I used Pear Pizzazz for the ink on Whisper White card stock and then mounted it on a Pear Pizzazz card base.

I stamped the small leaves and buds images with Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather ink and added a few little ‘berries’ in So Saffron ink. I used Memento Black ink for the sentiment and I cropped the stamped images out with a rectangle from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.

I popped the focal image layer onto a layer of Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz card stock with several dimensionals. I added a pop of Highland Heather color to the lower corner of card front by adhering a flower from the Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins pack. Hope you liked my ‘Spring… please come soon’ card!
