Nothing says Spring in the new 2019 Occasions Catalog than the Gingham Gala Suite! I mean, who doesn’t love Gingham? The Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ DSP combined with the beautiful images in the Butterfly Gala stamp set couldn’t be more perfect. Add the easy and affordable Butterfly Duet Punch and you are set to bring on Spring a little earlier than expected!
Although I wouldn’t normally use this color combination (usually a two color girl myself), I found the simplicity of the DSP pattern and the butterfly made it work nicely.
I stamped the outline images of the butterflies in the same color as the solid images, but I stamped off (stamped first on scrap paper and then stamped again) for a softer shading in the body of the image. Once I had the cropped images spaced on the card front to my liking, I stamped the small antennae image right onto the Whisper White layer in the same color as the butterfly.
