I think this is the first time I decided not to use a sentiment for a card project! I wanted the image to send the message of peace and simplicity during this holiday season. Using the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and Detailed Deer Framelits Dies, I was able to make that happen! I really think this has to be my favorite holiday stamp set ever!
I did use a layer of DSP from the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP pack to mount the focal image on. In this case, it was a plain piece of Whisper White card stock that was embossed with the Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I stamped the small deer image with Gray Granite ink onto a scrap of Whisper White and cropped it out with the coordinating die from the set. I cropped out the deer image again, this time using a scrap from the same DSP that I mounted on the card base. I set the two images off a little to give a shadow impression. I used a few mini dimensionals to pop the stamped deer image up and off center of the DSP cropped deer image.
I finished the project with a few random placements of Pearl Basic Jewels on the card front. Hope you liked today’s card!
