Welcome to the November, 2018 Blog Hop with Stampin’ Pretty Pals. Holiday cards are done. It’s time to start on gifts and gift wrap. Let the Stampin’ Pretty Pals inspire you with “Anything But A Card” today. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Our theme this month is anything but a card… so my thought was an envelope box to put some cards in! I used the Festive Farmhouse DSP for this Envelope Note Card Holder and it was plenty sturdy to hold 8 Holiday Cards with Envelopes! I thought this would be the perfect gift!
The magic happens with the Envelope Punch Board! Once I start using it, I remember how much fun it is and inevitably have to force myself to stop making multiples of the same project! I’m not quite sure what I am going to do with all these extra envelope boxes that I have now! 🙂
I used the sentiment stamp from the Another Wonderful Year Stamp Set and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. I layered it on a circle from the Stitched Shape Framelits Dies and then backed it with a slightly larger scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.
You can click HERE for a free PDF tutorial for this card. The only difference is that I used a Portrait orientation for the PDF project and a Landscape orientation for this one here. That is one of the cool things about this envelope box… depending upon how you fold in your score lines, you are able to change the orientation of how the box opens to the orientation of the note cards you will be enclosing in the box!
