Welcome to the Pals September, 2018 Blog Hop. The 2018 Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up! Is out and the Pals are excited! Sit back while we share creations from “Our Favorite Holiday”.
You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Dashing Deer and the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
This Dashing Deer Stamp Set and Bundle are a must-have for your Holiday cards – add in the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and you have a WOW card at your fingertips! I love the look of a square card and decided that a square card would give this embossed card front the credit it deserves!
I paired the beautiful embossing folder with the Galvanized Metallic Paper (also from the 2018 Holiday Catalog) for a true tin look, that to be honest, a photograph cannot do it justice. I also used the Tin Tile folder with a piece of Whisper White for the inner circle of the Layering Circle Framelits Dies. I used Gray Granite card stock for the scalloped circle.
I stamped the large deer image from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and bundle in Gray Granite and cropped it out with the die from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies. I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Gray Granite onto a Whisper White card stock scrap and cropped it out with the die from the Merry Christmas Thinits Dies.
I also cropped out a few sprigs of Vellum using the new Sprig Punch. I adhered a couple of these sprigs to the corner of the sentiment tag and also behind the deer antlers. I finished the project with a few random placements of three Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins.
Now it’s time to use the Blog Hop Line-up below to see what the rest of my Pals have created to inspire you.. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 10, 2018 for the next Pals Blog Hop. October is time for some wicked fun with “Wicked Folds” where the Pals will show you creations that are anything but a standard card fold. Don’t miss the fun.
