The Dashing Deer Bundle with the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies is such a beautiful set, I just had to start off with that little deer… and then I was hooked for sure!
I decided to incorporate the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and add a little color to it! I inked up the recessed side of the folder with Balmy Blue ink on the top and Gray Granite on the bottom. I used a tissue to soften the colors where the two met so that the colors blended into each other. I put a piece of Whisper White card stock inserted into the folder and ran it through the Big Shot.
I stamped the small deer in Gray Granite and cropped it with the small deer die from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cropped it out with the large circle die from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.
I mounted the embossed layer onto Basic Black card stock. I ran two strips of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine around the two layers and tied a bow off center to the right before adhering the layers onto the Thick Whisper White card base.
I used dimensionals to adhere the sentiment tag and the small deer to the lower portion of the card. I really liked the way it turned out. I hope you do too!
