This card started out being a sample project for my latest ‘Back to Basics’ video series – this latest one was all about adhesives. It ended up being a little too involved and would have made the video even longer than it was! So I decided to enjoy this beautiful card and do a much simpler project for the video. This card showcases the beautiful images and thinlits possibilities with the Beautiful Promenade stamp set and the Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies.
I used the Garden Impressions 6″x6″ DSP Stack with a layer of Vellum card stock as my base layer. I used a coordinating DSP from the same pack and after die cutting it with the large background shape from the Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies, used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to adhere it to a square of Whisper White, embossed with the Subtle Dynamic TIEF.
I stamped the floral image in Petal Pink and Cajun Craze and the leaves in Old Olive and cropped them out with the dies from the same set.
I heat embossed the sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and tied a bow with Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine to finish the project. I hope you liked today’s project!
