My colors for this card were definitely inspired by the DSP, which is from the Tranquil Textures DSP and they are…

I used the DSP from the Tranquil Textures pack and my first layer measured 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. I trimmed a second piece from this DSP to 1-1/2″ x 5-1/8″ and a third piece of Whisper White to 2″ x 5-1/8″. I also trimmed a piece of Night of Navy CS to 5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″.

I used Night of Navy ink to stamp on both the Night of Navy CS and he bottom quarter of the Whisper White layer. For the WW layer, I stamped off for a little contrast in the two layers. I stamped the ‘Let’s Celebrate’ sentiment on the upper quarter of the WW layer.

I adhered the larger DSP layer to the card base. I adhered the stamped CS on top of the small strip of DSP and the Night of Navy CS. Before adhering it to the card front, I wrapped two rounds of Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine around all three layers and tied a bow. (The medium weight bakers twine is so much easier to work with and really no reason to have to double up with this one.)
