Today I’m taking a sneak peek at a new stamp set – the Detailed With Love Stamp Set! This set is part of the Delightfully Detailed Suite. The actual bundle is called ‘Detailed With Love’. The bundle consists of the stamp set and the Detailed Trio Punch. I’ll get more into the punch with my next card, but for now – enjoy this clean and simple card project.
I guess you could say I am cheating a little in my self-imposed color challenge (minimum 3 colors in each design), but I’ve decided that the color in the DSP counts… I mean, it’s just too beautiful to dismiss! So, for this project, my colors are…
The Petal Pink is a beautiful, soft and subtle color that will really surprise you!
I used the Petal Pink card stock for the base and layered it with a Whisper White mat measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″. I trimmed a piece of Petal Pink CS to 4-1/8″ x 3-1/2 and a piece of the Petal Pink design from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP to 4-1/8″ x 3-1/4″.
I stamped the large oval sentiment image with Petal Pink ink (I love how the background color makes the sentiment pop!). I ran it through the Big Shot with the oval shape from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
Here’s a little tip for you with this particular stamp… the lighter pressure you use when stamping is better than too much pressure. It may be because my ink pad is new and super juicy, but I took me a few times before I was happy with the ‘stitching’ not coming through around the perimeter of the shape.
I adhered the layers a little askew on the card front and then popped up the sentiment oval with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a little extra pop from the Share What You Love Suite Embellishment Kit with a Petal Pink paper clip and some white twine.
