And in keeping with my self-imposed color challenge, these are the colors I chose for this card. It really wasn’t much to think about as the DSP is always my first go-to when thinking abouttail the design and color for each card I do. This was a no-brainer!

Cajun Craze – Mint Macaron – Petal Pink

This DSP is just beautiful and it’s called Nature’s Poem DSP (available June 1st). I matted it with Cajun Craze card stock and did the sentiment and background stamping in Petal Pink.

I cropped out the images with the Punch from the bundle called the Vases Builder Punch. Easy Peezy. I layered the background image with the vases onto a square of Cajun Craze card stock. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White card stock and used the large oval shape from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to crop it.

I popped the oval up with dimensionals, making sure it tucked behind the layers of squares, which was also popped up with dimensionals. I added a few of the new Share What You Love Artisan Pearls randomly on the oval.

The second Varied Vases card I have for you today was a quick masculine birthday card that came together in a snap.

I used the Wood Textures DSP for this card with Night of Navy card stock for the main layer. I stamped the tree image from the Varied Vases set right onto the DSP. I layered an oval shape from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and adhered it to a square from the same framelits dies set. I used the new Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine for a little added texture and popped it up with dimensionals.

I added an extra strip of Night of Navy card stock and Wood Textures DSP to the bottom quarter of the card front for some extra interest and added a few enamel dots (retiring) to the lower left corner of the card front.
