My #1 new favorite bundle from my pre-order of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog is the…. Varied Vases Bundle! This the set that was inspired by Million Dollar Achiever, Mary Fish! …Need I say more?  🙂 

So let me tell you about my personal color challenge… Being mostly a two-color design girl and the fact that I am in love with mostly ALL the new colors in this catalog, I am challenging myself to use more color in my designs! So, three colors it is… at least for all my sneak peeks!  🙂

For this lovely birthday card, I used Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake. The stamp set has 34 images (some are 3-step images) and sentiments. It is such a versatile set with birthday, thanks and friendship greetings.

I used a piece of Mint Macaron DSP (measuring 3-7/8″ x 3″) and also a piece of Crumb Cake DSP (measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″) from the Tranquil Textures DSP. I layered the stamped image layer onto a piece of Mint Macaron card stock (measuring 4″ x 3-3/4″) and popped it up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals!

I stamped the sentiment and the vases in Crumb Cake ink and lined them up with the ‘shelf’ image, which was stamped in Mint Macaron. The flowers were also stamped in Mint Macaron. I achieved the vase water by using the solid vase stamp, but only inking up the bottom half with Balmy Blue ink. And there’s my 3rd color!   🙂

I lined the envelope flap with a scrap of the Mint Macaron from the DSP and added one of the larger Faceted Dots to the corner of the focal image layer.
