If you haven’t gotten on the Brusho Bandwagon yet…. you are really missing out on some serious fun!

The card above was done in a flash because once you start playing with these crystals, you just keep going… so I had more than enough card fronts to get me going and last me for awhile!

There are a few ways to apply the Brusho. The first is to wet the paper down and then sprinkle a few (or a lot) of crystals on the wet paper and watch the crystals take over! Another way is to sprinkle some dry crystals onto dry paper and then give it a spritz of water. The latter one is great for backgrounds! I did a little of both on this card.

After embossing with the floral image from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set and heat setting it, I used my Aqua Painter to add some water to the inside of the petals. Then, I carefully sprinkled a little bit of crystals into each segment. I let it dry a bit because I do prefer to have the tiny dots in the design, but after a little while, I went back in with my Aqua Painter and spread the color out a little. I wanted the leaf to be a little more solid, so I made a little side palette of water drops and mixed in a few of the Moss colored crystals. I then used my Aqua Painter and painted the inside of the leaf.

For the background, I sprinkled a few crystals around the floral image and then spritzed the whole piece of Shimmery White card stock. (I held the spritzer up pretty high so not to have the crystals run)… again, I like to see the actual crystals in the design. 🙂
