LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Petal Palette & Springtime Foils – #tttc037

I am playing along with the #tictactoechallenge this week for #tttc037. My elements were Vellum/Gold or Silver/Circle – Middle Row Across.

This was such a fun card to make! It also allowed me to pair up my favorite stamp set from the Occasions Catalog, Petal Palette with a FREE Sale-A-Bration item… Springtime Foils Specialty DSP!

And what made it even more fun… was using a few different techniques on this one card. I used my Brusho Crystals for the inside of the floral image from the Petal Palette Stamp Set and Bundle, I used my Blends Markers to color in the leaves on the Specialty DSP and I used a standard embossing technique on both the floral image (before using the Brusho Crystals) and the sentiment – right onto the Vellum!

Here are some measurements:

  • Card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″  Scored at 4-1/4″
  • Specialty DSP – 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Vellum – large circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies

Once I embossed the floral image, I used my Brusho Crystals to color in the inside of the buds and leaves. I cropped the image out using the Big Shot with the coordinating die from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies and adhered it to a few rounds of Silver Metallic Thread.

I used my Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to fill in the leaves of the Springtime Foil Specialty DSP!

Then I cropped out the circle with Vellum card stock and adhered that to the lower left side of the DSP card front. I used the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder to emboss the sentiment, which is from the Blossoming Basket stamp set (available from the SAB Catalog FREE with $50 purchase) and embossed onto a strip of Vellum scrap.

I popped the large floral image (with Metallic Thread) on top of the Vellum circle with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
