There are so many beautiful stamp sets, paper, ribbon (and this year) thinlits dies in the new 2018 Occasions Catalog, I thought I would just showcase two of the projects I made with stamp sets you can receive FREE from this fabulous catalog!
This first one is from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set. This gorgeous image is from Stampin’ Up!’s new Distinktive* (*patent pending) stamps that lay down the ink at different opacities, giving the finished image more depth!
The set has three beautiful sentiments with classic fonts. I used Calypso Coral ink and card stock to coordinate with the Calypso Coral design from the Delightful Daisy DSP. with the addition of a few pearls, there was really no more to be done. This stamp set is the star of the show!
This next card was done using two free items from the SAB brochure. The images were from the Beautiful Peacock set, which is a Level 1 award (Free with $50 purchase). The sentiment was from a Level 2 award (Free with $100 purchase), called Happy Wishes. This is a 2-box set with beautiful and contemporary fonts for every occasion!
I used a piece of DSP from one of the new DSPs from the Occasions Catalog called Tutti-Frutti! Lots of fun designs in this DSP pack, but I chose more of a subtle background to pick up the Peekaboo Peach in the Peacock’s feathers.
I layered both images on Peekaboo Peach card stock and used my Layering Squares Thinlits Dies to crop out the back layer of the smaller image. I wrapped it up with a strip of Peekaboo Peach Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to finish it off.
