I was looking for another excuse to get out this car stamp from the Wonderful Life Stamp Set… and my new Stampin’ Blends Markers!  🙂

I used Thick Whisper White card stock to stamp the car and tree because the Stampin’ Blends will bleed through the regular card stock. I stamped in Memento Black Ink and colored in the car with the Light Cherry Cobbler Blends Marker. Then I used the Color Lifter for a little light shading on the car. And I used both the Dark and the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers for the Christmas Tree. I fussy cut around the car and tree.

I used a piece of DSP from the Christmas Around The World DSP for the card base layer and layered a piece of Vellum (same measurements – 4″ x 5-1/4″) over it. Once I knew where I was placing the square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, I used adhesive to adhere the Vellum to the DSP.

I tied a piece of Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon around the right side of the two layers and tied a knot. This helped adhere the right side of the Vellum down without noticing any adhesive. I then adhered the two layers to the card base.

Once I adhered the square to the Vellum, I popped up the focal image with a few dimensionals. I stamped a simple ‘joy’ sentiment in Soft Sky ink, which was from the latest Paper Pumpkin Kit. I used the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and cropped the sentiment. I then popped that to the lower/side of the focal image.
