Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for November 2017. This month our theme is Holiday Tags! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Lori Pinto @ LollyPop Paper and Ink or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
I am so excited to be participating in this blog hop for the first time with these incredible and talented stampers!
Here are my two holiday tags! Enjoy!
Both tags were made using Basic Black card stock and Whisper White card stock, the Everyday Label Punch, Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Lots of Labels Framelits Dies and the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies.
Here’s the breakdown on each of them….
For the card above, I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and then heat embossed the randomly placed snowflakes with the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Labels to Love stamp set before cropping it with the Everyday Labels Punch. I cropped out the coordinating snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies with Silver Glimmer Paper and popped that one right on top of one of the stamped images.
For this next card shown above, I used The Quilt Builder Framelits Dies to crop out a tree shape. Then I stamped and heat embossed the image on the underlying black card stock to be seen through the cropped shape.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Merry Little Labels stamp set before cropping it out with the Everyday Label Punch.
I cropped another snowflake from the Silver Glimmer Paper using the same framelit from the Seasonal Layers Framelits and placed it adjacent to the tree cut-out.
All the products I used for these tags are listed below.
