This card was a case from Pinterest and although I kept it a holiday card, it can so easily be transformed with just a change in the sentiment so that it could be used year round! Happy Birthday, Good Job, Happy Day… any kind of celebration would be perfect!

I used the Christmas Quilt Bundle… which is the Christmas Quilt stamp set and the Quilt Builder Framelits Dies. All of the DSP pieces are from the Quilted Christmas DSP and the basic colors of Garden Green and Night of Navy is more reason to use this set way past Christmas!  🙂  The dies in the set make filling in the shapes easy peesy!

I used a large circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and a slightly larger scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies to back up the beautiful paper pieced star.

Here are the layer measurements:

• Card Base – 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
• Night of Navy card stock – 5-1/4″ x 4″
• DSP – 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
• Night of Navy card stock – 4-1/2″ x 3″
• DSP – 4-3/8″ x 2-7/8″
• Night of Navy card stock – 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
• Whisper White – 3-5/8″ x 2-5/8″

I finished the card off with a small Garden Green Enamel Dot and a bow tied with a few strands of Whisper White Bakers Twine. I also used a little bit of extra DSP and adhered it to the envelope flap.
