It took me awhile to get into this stamp set, but it was so worth the wait!

I used the Feeling of Christmas Stamp Set, a little bit of the Merry Little Christmas DSP and the new and fantastic Stampin’ Blends.

I layered a piece of DSP measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″ onto the Thick Whisper White Card Base. I used a 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock and first stamped the background circle in Smoky Slate and then the wreath image in Basic Black.

And then the fun started…. I used the Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers and just started coloring. The beauty of these blending markers is that you can get both the light and dark shade of each color offered. It really makes you feel like an artist…which I am not!

After attaching the focal image layer to the DSP, I ran a piece of Old Olive card stock through the Big Shot with one of the square Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I then stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink on a small scrap of Whisper White and ran that one through the Big Shot with the smaller square framelits. I attached the Old Olive square with adhesive and the Whisper White square with dimensionals. I added a second sentiment to the inside of the card, also inked up with Old Olive ink. And lastly, I used a small piece of the coordinating DSP for the envelope flap.
