This was a second ‘photo’ card that I added to my upcoming Christmas Card Class! And it was a cinch to put together!
I used the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies for the beautiful border frame around the card. The die is used on both the top and bottom here, but it certainly looks great if you just wanted to keep it on the top of the card.
I cut a piece of Vellum to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and ran it through the Big Shot with the Card Front Builder Die. I used a Heavy Whisper White card base and layered a piece of Whisper White on top of the base.
I used the sentiment from the Peace This Christmas stamp set. This was a very popular set that was carried over from last year and is available now. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink. I also stamped the small berry leaf from the Carols of Christmas stamp set and cropped it out with the corresponding die included in the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies. I added a tiny Basic Rhinestone Jewel to the cropped leaf before adhering it to the side of the sentiment.
I trimmed my photo to the same measurements and adhered just the top part of the photo to the layering piece. I used a glue dot in the top center of the card to adhere the Vellum to the photo. I ran a strand of Silver Metallic Thread into two loops and adhered it and a bow I made from the 1/8″ Silver Ribbon with another glue dot.
I just loved how this one came out! And may I add, my yummy grand baby in the photo just adds to the perfection of this card! 🙂
