This is another card I made with my new favorite holiday stamp set, Season Like Christmas! I have tried it with the traditional green colors, but keep finding myself drawn to the gray and silver as I did here.
I started by stamping the first two stamps in Smoky Slate ink. I stamped the first one full strength and the second, I used the same Smoky Slate ink, but this time stamped off before adding the second image.
Then I stamped the third step stamp in VersaMark ink, added Silver Embossing Powder and then set it with the heat tool. I just love that extra sparkle (although it is a little difficult to see in the photo)!
I added the sentiment from the same stamp set in Smoky Slate and then ran the 2″ strip through the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I popped this up with some dimensionals and layered it on a piece of Smoky Slate card stock, measuring 2-1/2″ x 5″. I ran a double strip of silver ribbon through the tag opening and pulled it up top.
Both of these layers were adhered to a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ DSP from the Year of Cheer Specialty DSP, which was adhered right to the card base. (This design of DSP is actually all silver – even though it looks gold in these photos!) A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the top of the tree and also to the lower right corner of the DSP layer for a touch of bling! 🙂
