LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Ready For A Bike Ride

When this Bike Ride Stamp Set came out, I was visualizing a basket of apples in Autumn! And so, here we are!

I decided to keep this one quick and simple by just stamping and not cropping out the bicycle image. I was letting the pops of red get all the attention!

I used Basic Gray and Basic Black Archival ink for the bicycle and Crumb Cake ink for the basket. I used Real Red ink for the apples, bike seat, handles and foot pedal.

I used Real Red card stock as the card base and layered it with Basic Black, a Whisper White focal image layer and then added a piece of DSP from the Merry Little Christmas DSP.

I wrapped the focal image layer with a strip of Real Red 1/8″ Ribbon and tied a bow in the center.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wood Words Stamp Set in Basic Black and that was it!

Still having a little bit of withdrawal from being on the beautiful beach in Destin, Florida a few weeks ago. We were there with our dear friends from Nashville…. friends we made while living in Houston, TX about a million years ago. Actually, it was almost 40 years ago! Talk about BFFs!

    • Hi Marie,
I didn’t use a stitched frame on this card, but sometimes if I need a really large rectangle (or square), I either make it by extending the square and not running it all the way through the Big Shot and then reversing it. Or maybe I cheat and use a non-SU product! Sorry, if I knew which card you were referring to, I could be more specific with my answer! :-).
