This is one of the cards that is included in this month’s LollyPop Paper… to go! class!… And I think it’s my favorite! You can check out all the details for this month’s class right HERE!
The stamp set I used for this month’s class is Watercolor Christmas and I just love the big bold sentiments and the fact that the sentiments are pretty generic when it comes to the holidays!
I used Smoky Slate card stock as my base and added a layer of Pool Party card stock and then a layer of a paper from the Christmas Around The World DSP. I love the soft colors of Pool Party and Smoky Slate together!
I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out a rectangle from Pool Party card stock and also from a scrap of Whisper White card stock for a smaller rectangle. Now, I know the Stitched Shapes Framelits DO NOT come with a rectangle die, but there is a way to use one of the square framelits to make a rectangle. I plan on doing a video for the …to go! class showing you how this is so easy to do! So be sure to come back to check it out.
I taped down a few strands of the Silver Metallic Thread to the back of a beautiful Foil Snowflake (Silver side up) and then adhered that to the Pool Party rectangle. Then I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink and popped that rectangle over the snowflake with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals! I added just a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for just a touch of bling. 🙂
