Now who doesn’t love sparkling diamonds? 🙂 This card was one of the samples that I showed on my YouTube video a few weeks back, which was all about our fabulous Embossing Paste! I’ll put a link at the bottom of the post for you to check out the video!
So let me say up front that the picture does not really do this card much justice. It’s almost impossible to see the twinkle in each of the diamonds. But, take my word for it, they are there and it makes for a really beautiful wedding card.
I used the Celebration Time stamp set and bundle for the cake and cake stand. I stamped first in VersaMark and then used Clear Stampin Emboss Powder to heat emboss the image. (Next time, I would add some Dazzling Diamonds on the image first before using the heat tool.) I then ran the image through the Big Shot with the Celebrations Thinlits.
I used Shimmery White card stock for both the card base and also for the top layer. I picked the diamond stencil from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and I added some Dazzling Diamonds ( a lot, actually 🙂 ) right into some of the Embossing Paste. Then I just ran it over the entire piece of (4″ x 5-1/4″) Shimmery White card stock. It takes very little time to dry and the result with the Dazzling Diamonds is just dazzling! 😉
I wrapped a strand of 1/4″ Very Vanilla Ribbon (sorry to say that this is retired now) and tied a bow. Then I adhered the cake to the center of the card so that the ribbon will land right on the cake stand leg of the image. I popped the whole layer up with some dimensionals, and just a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and I was done!
