I put this little gift box of thank you notecards together as one of the projects for our Wine Down Wednesday last week… and it was a big hit! Each lady decorated their own Mini Pizza Box with three notecards and envelopes to go inside! There are no wrong color combinations with this project, so each one comes out perfect!
These new Mini Pizza Boxes from the 2017 Holiday Catalog are a cinch to put together and are so fun for so many reasons! 🙂
Here are just a few… 3″x3″ square notecards fit perfectly inside, also a gift card, a large cookie (these boxes are also food safe), a large single wrapped piece of chocolate….you get the idea!
I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and bundle which includes the Leaf Punch and the beautiful Painted Autumn DSP to layer up the top of the Mini Pizza Box. Once the flower was stamped, I fussy cut it and then used a sponge dauber to cover all the white around the flower for a little more of a realistic look!
I did use several Stampin’ Up! ink pads for the cutout flower on the box and also the stamped flowers on each of the three 3″ x 3″ notecards. There are so many variations of sunflowers, you cannot go wrong with the results! I did use Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Soft Saffron and Pumpkin Pie. And for the flower center, I used Chocolate Chip and Early Espresso. I used Lemon Lime Twist ink on Lemon Lime Twist card stock for a tone on tone effect for the leaves. And then I cropped them out with the Leaf Punch.
Once you decide what color card stock and ink you plan to use, it all comes together in a snap! I didn’t get it in the photo, but I have included a 3″ x 3″ Whisper White envelope with each notecard also. These envelopes and pizza boxes are very popular items from the new Holiday Catalog! 🙂 Three notecards and three envies fit perfectly in this little treat box!
This little set would make a perfect thank you gift for someone special – with or without the notecards! 🙂
