It is indeed MonoMonday and what better way than to start the week off than with a monochromatic holiday card from the Carols of Christmas stamp set!

This monochromatic card was a breeze to put together using the Carols of Christmas stamp set and the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies. I used the dies with the corner cut outs and layered it on Old Olive card stock.

I used my Aqua Pen and by dipping it in Old Olive ink, I just made a few swishes across a piece of Whisper White card stock and then I stamped the large sentiment right on top of the watercolored square. I cut this out with the large square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and adhered it right under the corner cut-outs.

I added one of the beautiful embellishments in this year’s Holiday Catalog, the Boxwood Wreaths. I simply tied a bow with Linen Thread on the top of the wreath and although I planned to decorate the wreath a bit, I decided in the end that it was beautiful left plain! #walkawaylori  🙂
