I do love sketch challenges and this was no exception!
I used my all-time favorite ‘host’ stamp set, ‘Tranquil Tulips’ as both the foreground and background focal image. I stamped Fresh Fig ink on Fresh Fig card stock for the tone-on-tone effect for the center square.
I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits for both the square cut out and the oval for the tulips to pop! I used the square Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out a center square from one of the wood-looking papers from the Wood Textures DSP Stack. I then did my stamping on the Fresh Fig card stock and used the same size square framelit to crop around the tulips. This way one square fit perfectly inside the other for a nice flat and seamless layer.
I used the Fresh Fig 1/8″ Ribbon to add some interest to the top of the card, popped the tulip focal layer up with a few dimensionals and added a banner with a sentiment from the Wood Woods Stamp Set.
