This Smitten Mittens stamp set and Many Mittens Framelits Dies are so darn cute… and don’t even get me started on how much I love the plaids in this holiday catalog! 🙂
This is the kind of set that can be dressed up or down with the easiest of effort! For this card, it was easy to dress it up with the addition of a pretty plaid print from the Christmas Around The World DSP. I added the Christmas sentiment from the Labels to Love stamp set and used the Everyday Label Punch to cut it out.
I stamped the mitten and floral image from the same stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock. I ran it though the Big Shot with the mitten die from the Many Mittens Framelits Dies and then ran it through again, this time under the Cable Knit Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I layered the DSP with a layer of Basic Black card stock to make the sentiment label pop! The inks that I used for this project were Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler. I used a little Linen Thread to make a bow on the mitten wrist band. I also lined the envelope flap with a scrap from the plaid DSP!
