The Painted Harvest stamp set is my new favorite from the 2017 Holiday Catalog. I love Fall and the designs that are possible with this stamp set for this time of year are endless! 🙂

I jazzed this card up a little by going for a watercolor effect! I used a piece of watercolor paper and stamped the two-step stamps from the Painted Harvest stamp set first in Crushed Curry ink and then again in Pumpkin Pie ink. Then I spritzed just a little bit of water onto just one side of the flower.
I let it dry for a bit and then stamped the inside of the flower in Soft Suede and also the leaf stamp in Pear Pizzazz. I then hit that with a spritz also. I went back and used Basic Black to add the dots to the center, without spritzing again.
I used a piece of leftover watercolor paper and stamped the leaf image in Pear Pizzazz again. After spritzing the leaf with a little water and letting it dry, I added that to the lower side of the floral image for a little extra dimension.
I used Whisper White paper, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ and ran it through the Big Shot with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for my background layer. I layered my focal image on top of a piece of Basic Black card stock, measuring 1/4″ bigger than the focal image layer.
Before adhering the focal image layer to the embossed layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I ran a few strands of Linen Thread around the layers above the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink and is from the Wood Words Stamp Set.
