I got a chance to play along with the #tictactoechallenge (#tttc013) this week and I chose the center line down… pattern paper, flower and coloring. Here is my entry!

I used the Whole Lot Of Lovely for the background DSP and one of my favorite stamps from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set. I wanted to duplicate the green stems on the DSP, so I used my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker and lightly drew on the stamp for a muted effect once stamped.

I picked up on the colors of the DSP by using my Write Markers in Powder Pink and Pool Party to color in the flowers on the stamp. I also filled in a little bit of the leaves with more Pear Pizzazz.

I used the small square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set for a perfect fit! I used Basic Black Archival ink for the sentiment for a crystal clear impression.

I used several rectangle layers (backing them with Basic Black card stock) for some visual appeal, but not to overtake the stamped and colored floral image.  🙂  I finished it off with a few Black Rhinestone Jewels.
