This was another very fun card to make using the new Embossing Paste and the Painted Harvest Stamp Set from the new 2017 Holiday Catalog!

I decided to go with more muted colors this time when playing with the sunflower from the Painted Harvest stamp set. This set is available as a bundle, which includes the stamp set and the Leaf Punch. The stamps are two-step images, which makes it so much more realistic!

I used a very little addition of the Wisteria Wonder ink into the embossing paste and spread it over the diamond shape sheet from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks package. I used Wisteria Wonder and Smokey Slate for the two-step stamping of the flower and I used Pear Pizzazz for both steps on the leaves. Then I used the Leaf Punch to cut them out.

I layered the embossed layer over a piece of Pear Pizzazz patterned paper from the (retired) Subtles DSP Collection. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Wisteria Wonder and cut out the banner side with the Banner Triple Punch. A few strands of Linen Thread around the left side of the banner tie up the leaves very nicely. I really am happy with the softer look of this card by using somewhat unusual colors – as far as sunflowers go!  🙂
