In my opinion, the most beautiful ‘host’ stamp set ever!… Tranquil Tulips!
Let me say up front… that this beautiful stamp set is only available as a host gift. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to host a party or workshop… although that would be fun to do! What it does mean is… you can add this set to your order if you qualify for Stampin’ Rewards! – to be more specific – if your total product order is over $150. Click HERE for all the details on that!
I am so in love with this stamp set and with the new In Color – Lemon Lime Twist, I just had to make a card combining both! This card would qualify as a ‘Clean and Simple’ card – although it looks like it was much more work than it truly was!
I think white-on-white is truly classic, and by adding the Layered Leaves Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, it brings it up to a new level of classic. I simply stamped the tulip images from the Tranquil Tulips in my favorite new In Color, Lemon Lime Twist. I used a post it note for a mask as I was stamping them so close together. (I did this because I knew I wanted the focal image to be a circle die cut with mostly the tulip bulbs as the star of the show). 🙂
After running the embossing folder through the Big Shot, I ran a strip of 1/2″ Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven Ribbon around the embossed layer and tied a bow off center to the left. I used the Layering Circles Framelits Dies to cut out both the stamped image and a scalloped shape to back it up.
I adhered the embossed layer to the card base and scalloped layer with adhesive and then popped up the focal image using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set for the sentiment, which I stamped in Basic Black to pick up the black in the stems of the tulips. I also just cannot get enough of the Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black combo! 🙂 I just cut a tag around the sentiment and rounded the corners for a softer look. I used a glue dot to adhere that to the ribbon strip.
To be honest… I had more planned for this card, but stopped short when I could see the beauty of the simplicity and realized there was no more to do! #walkawaylori
