I finally got my hands on products from the new 2017 Holiday Catalog… and oh my goodness, each and every one is just fabulous! I started with the Painted Harvest Bundle. This bundle consists of the stamp set and a beautiful and delicate Leaf Punch.

The DSP in this suite is just beyond beautiful! The DSP is called Painted Autumn and the colors and designs are just perfect for Fall.

I used a square from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies and centered it on the top half of a piece of the ‘droplet’ design from the Painted Autumn DSP. Then I attached a square piece of Vellum behind it. I stamped the floral image on the lower corner of a piece of Whisper White scrap paper in Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight ink, and attached that to the back of the Vellum. This is a two-step stamp set, which makes it look so darn realistic!I stamped the center of the flower Crumb Cake ink.

I used the Vellum for a very muted effect with the image. I like how it gives a cohesive look with the ‘watercolor, washed out droplet’ design of this DSP! I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Whisper White scrap paper. Then I used the new Everyday Label Punch to make the perfect focal image.

I ran a few lines of Linen Thread around the card before popping the label over it with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. I really like how my first card with this lovely stamp set turned out. …Already planning my next one in my head! 🙂
